GTS NX
Tunneling (Numerical Analysis & Modelling) Short Course
About the course
What will I learn?
- Have better command on the Geotechnical Software midas GTS NX
- Quick modelling techniques using midas GTS NX Tunnel Wizard
- Implication and methodology in implementing Construction Stage Analysis at different Stages in Tunnel
Description
Short Course for the Geotechnical Engineers focused on Finite Element Methodologies in Tunnel Engineering. For those who have been adopting 2D methodology for Tunnel Analysis & Design, through this course you will get an introduction to various modeling techniques of tunneling, taking into account various physical constraints. Mitigation of the inevitable risks involved in tunneling will also form an important part of the course.

About the instructor
Hi I am Harsha, Geo-technical Engineer with Midas R & D centre, India . I designed this course to emphasize on the importance of 3D analysis over 2D analysis. Also this course will give a brief idea on application of tunnels in different infrastructural projects.
